Payment Terms: Payment is made in 3 installments. Late fee of $50 applies for every 30 days overdue. Beacon Marketing reserves the right to suspend any site upon 3 months of overdue fees.
Scope of Web Project: Beacon agrees to provide the services quoted in their proposal, but if the scope of the project changes or excessive edits are requested, Beacon reserves the right to charge for additional work. Prior to any charges for additional time, Beacon will notify and request approval from the client. Within the first 15 days of completing your site, all minor changes are free as long as they are within stated hourly limit. Anytime thereafter, changes or additions will be billed at $75/hr. Block of time of five hours can be purchased for $300. This time can be used for any number of services provided by Beacon Marketing, including online promotion and content creation.
Annual Fee: There is an annual renewal fee for the web hosting, email service, domain name renewal and web traffic reports. This is due every year based on the original go live date.
Down-Time: Beacon Marketing uses reputable hosting and email services, with 99.9% up-time. On rare occasions, the service may go down for a short period of time. Beacon Marketing will do everything it can to resolve the problem, but will not be held responsible for this down-time.
Domain Name: Domain Names remain the property of clients at all times, even when Beacon orders domains for client.
Content Rights: Web Site content and design remain the property of client. At any time clients can ask to transfer site to new web management company. Files will be burned onto CD and mailed to client.
Email: Beacon will create a POP3 email addresses per web site. All POP email messages can be viewed online at email.yourdomainname.com, (i.e. email.beaconmarketing.biz). Forwarding email addresses send email to your current email address, but the disadvantage of that is you can not send email out using that email address.
Autoresponder: Beacon can create up to two auto-responder email accounts. An example of an auto-responder is when someone fills out a form online to join your email list, and they receive an email saying thanks for joining.
Tutorial: Beacon Marketing will provide links to online video tutorials on how to add, modify or delete content.
Traffic Reports: If your package includes an online marketing element, Beacon will add Google Analytics code to each page of your site, and will then provide regularly scheduled online traffic reports emailed to you. These reports provide an in-depth perspective of online visitors to your site, including the following metrics: Visitors per day/week/month, average time on site, bounce rate (% of visitors leaving after first page visited), most popular pages, leading sources of traffic, leading keywords used to find site, and much more.
